Typical Client Scenarios
This is about moving forward, and finding solutions, not just talking!
Scenario 1: Divorce Decision
Client:
“I don’t know whether to stay or leave.”
My role is not to tell you what to do
What I do:
- Break down:
- What’s actually happening (facts vs emotion)
- What they’re afraid of
- What staying vs leaving realistically looks like
I provide guidance to provide:
- Clarity on consequences
- What matters most (kids, finances, peace, etc.)
- A next step, not a final life decision
👉 Outcome: They leave thinking “I can actually think straight now.”
👉 Outcome: They leave knowing “I have clarity and I have a plan.”
Moving Home / Starting Over
Client:
“I feel like I need a fresh start but I’m not sure.”
What I do:
- Challenge emotional vs practical reasons
- Look at:
- Financial reality
- Lifestyle impact
- Timing
Then:
- Help them decide:
- Move now
- Wait
- Adjust current situation
👉 Outcome: Decision feels grounded, not impulsive
👉 Outcome: They leave feeling confident and with a way forward
Overwhelm / Stuck
Client:
“Everything feels too much. I don’t know where to start.”
What I do:
- Strip everything back
- Identify:
- What actually matters
- What’s noise
Then:
- Agree with them 3 clear actions only
👉 Outcome: Relief + momentum
